Vintage Car Collecting: Start One or Check Some Rentals in Las Vegas Part 2

Wednesday, April 13th, 2011

http://www.VoyagerClassics.com

Some collected all kinds of models, but most of them usually stick to just one. Like for example, if one person is a Lamborghini fan, he or she will only collect their car models.

But to those who dont have the time and the money to collect these kinds of vehicles but would like to experience them, lots of exotic car rentals are available, notably in Las Vegas. They give different packages and you can choose any model you prefer as long as it is available. The best way to do so is by calling to reserve your car of choice before embarking out to drive it. This is probably done by some car enthusiasts who would like people to appreciate their value.

As Las Vegas being a city of entertainment, it is not surprising that their car rentals actually offer these high-end models. It might sound scary to drive one of these babies, but of course, these things have insurance. If you dont know how to drive it, some companies teach you how to do it or if you really dont know how, they can get you a driver at an additional charge. But of course your protection, and the cars as well, is a priority.

But to the most serious collectors, this is a hobby where responsibility is a must. Driving it is a big no-no. You must be able to maintain it and be willing to spend for it as well. It is not for self-indulgence, as some people might think. It is just something some people love doing. One must be patient enough to be one. And most of these cars cost a lot of money, more so if they are still in good condition.

So if looking for that coveted Lamborghini Countach is a must, and you have the resources for it, then vintage car collecting is for you. If not, you can always go and rent for one, either way, you enjoy the benefits of being in a classic!

My son’s Formula One Pedal Kart car — out of the way Earnhardt, Gordon, Busch !!!

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010

My son’s pedal Kart. I added the speedo, the horn and the mirrors and I attached a walkie talkie so that I can give him pit crew advice while he is out on the track racing in the school playground ( here in New York City) I also added turn signals ( mounted on the back of his seat ) that he controls from the dash. He loves to take it out for a ride !!! The tires are air filled tubeless go kart tires and it has ball joint steering. It came with a 3 speed internal hub SRAM bicycle transmission in the rear axle that he shifts on the stalk. The stalk pulls up as emergency brake and also locks to operate as a parking brake to lock the wheels when parked on a incline so that it doesn’t roll or move. Has coaster (back pedal) brakes and can also pedal in reverse in any gear after a stop to park or to turn around the kart. The seat adjusts and moves back as he grows…. Street legal everywhere —even on the sidewalk !!! Top speed is what ever his tiny little legs can do !!! Yahhhh–Baby

Fill Your Need for Speed with a Luxury Jaguar Car Rental in Las Vegas, Nevada Part 2

Unfortunately, not all people can own this baby. But you dont need to have that much money to be able to race it. In Las Vegas, there are places where you can find it and drive it with a price. Exotic car rentals are quite known in Sin City. And what better way to indulge than to call up one of these car rental services and find if it is available. You dont have to be as rich as Bill Gates to afford it.

There are some companies that charge hourly rates if you just want to ride around it. Some of them even approve of you taking it out of the city as long as you have a written recommendation and that you wont be running into Mexico anytime soon. Choose services that take good care of their cars. The better the engine, the nicer it would be to drive it.

This cars history is worth every penny, as it is famous for a lot of things, aside from the name itself. Just being able to drive it is accomplishment enough, not everyone gets to do that. Even if its just from a car rental, it doesnt mean its value is less. The experience itself is worth more than life itself.

So if you think you cant get to drive the Jaguar XK 120, then just look around first. You dont even need to buy it. Just head to Las Vegas and see if you can find an exotic car rental with this in it.

Nascar might be out of reach, but heck, that doesnt change the mind of speed demons. As long as its fast, they are contented, or are they? Maybe even the speed of the fastest car in the world is not enough. If it would be possible, they would try to go at the speed of light, maybe only then they can find their real happiness.

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

http://www.VoyagerClassics.com
Do you want to look at wildlife in a way other than that documentary on Animal Planet? Well in the Entertainment Capital of the World, you sure can do.

But first things first: How do we get there? Now I’m such a sucker for themes. And because our current theme is that of exploring wildlife, I say let’s take a Jaguar to lead us into the great wide open. The exotic car that it is, the Jaguar would be an apt choice of transportation. It is, after all, one of the most famous luxury automobiles manufactured. Their sleek lines, pristine leather, suave interiors, and smooth engines, it’s no wonder why these rides rule the streets. It has been the car of choice for those wealthy brokers in Wall Street New York, for a hefty price tag, at that. But fret not. You can drive one. This city, after all, is mushrooming with Jaguar car rental dealers that can loan you the king of the high streets for a day, at least.

Now with the Jaguar, let get headed to the rest of the pack: the Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand Hotel. Experience a taste of the wild inside the Hollywood-themed MGM Grand. Every day, from 10:00am to 11:00pm, 6 wildcats such as lions, snow leopards, and tigers can be seen eating, playing, sleeping, and frolicking around in their special glass habitat at the Casino area. All 31 of these wildcats belong to the renowned feline expert Keith Evans and all live on a 8.5 acre ranch when they are not on exhibit. Now, what’s the best thing about these shows: they’re free, compliments of the MGM Grand.

Who says nature’s marvels stop in dry land? Surely, the ocean and what’s beneath it holds as much wonders as the world we set out feet on. Still on that rad Jaguar car rental, we speed off to the great open sea. Enter the Shark Reef Aquarium at the Mandalay Bay.

Renting the 1966 AC Cobra in Las Vegas car rentals is one fine way to remember the year 1966

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

http://www.extrememotorsportsoflasvegas.com/

What other things that we need to remember about 1966 ? The video game console because it was also invented in 1966 and the man who developed it was Ralph Baer. The concept for the video game console was first thought out by Ralph Baer while working for Loral Electronics in 1951 but his designs got rejected by his employer. Baer though was not discouraged and did not give up on the design until in 1966, he created the first ever video game that could be displayed on a standard television set. But at that time few knew of the invention, it was only when Atari released their home versions of Pong in 1975 that home games became successful.
Other things that happened in the year 1966 where when Mao Zedong of the People’s Republic of China began the Cultural Revolution. 1966 was also the year The Doors recorded their first self-titled debut LP and the Beatles had their last concert at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, California.

1966 was also the first Star Trek debuted its first episode, it was titled” The Man Trap.”
England’s only World Cup win, the invention of the 1966 AC Cobra, the first ever video game console, China’s Cultural Revolution, the Doors, the Beatles and Star Trek’s first episode. These are just the few on what happened on 1966. It was a good year and we should all need to remember it.
