Hyunday Getz costs the same as VW Polo?!? what the fuck?!? in England is really like that? In Switzerland or Italy Getz costed at least 15% less than Polo. So these are just bullshits.

They sometimes act really ignorant, liek James may saying “i relly like this car”, and later he says that it has a Lotus suspension… But then again he also likes the Dacia Sandero.

I agree. I think Top gear presenters are too used to good cars, they can`t properly judge really cheap cars. What do you expect for a car under $10000 built in a country with reasonable wages?
It`ll take decades before they can built any think nearly as good as an European or Japanese car. By that time though, I think the Chinese and Indians will be making reaaaaally cheap cars, with similar performance.

Its amazing how …
Its amazing how much Korean cars have changed in 10 years. This was about 2000-01 because I remember shopping with my dad for a new small car. We tried a Rio, and just 5 minutes in sitting inside gave my a rash. The seats were the hardest non-plastic thing I’ve ever sat or felt. Plus it was slooow. We got a Focus for just $2000 more new. Its a wonderful car. After that, we swore never to get a Korean car after searching for them. My dad has a Elantra now.

Unfortnately there is a collosal problem … it is a hyundai and we as europeans will never give credit to any Korean or Malasian at all cost, and it is cost that is.

He might be right on the part where he says the car makers have no soul put into the cars, but there is a possibility that they are too used to driving ultra good cars to properly judge cars that are a lot, lot cheaper.

@juanmaperez92 What about people like myself who don’t sell there cars? When it comes to buy a new car, I buy it. I dont sell my old one for scrap or something and buy a used car with the money i got back. I have 2009 Hyundai Sonata, a 2006 Audi a4 and most recently, an infinity g37 coupe. I dont call that “going backwards”.
